WHAT POSITION ARE YOU MOST COMFORTABLE PLAYING?

Blocker, but you should never feel comfortable in any position you play.

WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO GET INVOLVED IN ROLLER DERBY?

I enjoyed just recreational skating and while I was at the skating rink I saw a bunch of girls walk in for practice. Talked to them about it and joined a year later. 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE DERBY MEMORY?

Going to Denver with Dallas Travel Team and playing 3 different teams in 24 hours with Battalion of Doom is for sure one of my most favorites.

PLAYING ANY SPORT IS A HUGE COMMITMENT. HOW DO YOU JUGGLE THAT ALONG WITH YOUR LIFE OUTSIDE OF DERBY?

I don’t understand this question? Derby is my life. Ha!

IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND TALK TO YOURSELF AS A NEWBIE SKATER, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE HER?

I never played sports growing up, so when you join roller derby you don’t realize how much of an athletic sport it is until you are actually doing it. If this is what you want to do long term and be successful at it you have to start eating right and conditioning your body outside of roller derby.
