What is WFTDA?
The Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) is the international governing body of women's flat track roller derby, representing over 400 member leagues on six continents. Founded in 2004, WFTDA has grown into an expansive and inclusive organization that sets the rules, standards, and guidelines for roller derby leagues worldwide.
WFTDA serves as the unifying force behind the global roller derby community, fostering the growth and development of the sport. Its reach spans from North America to Europe, Asia, Australia, and beyond, encompassing diverse teams and cultures.
WFTDA, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors elected annually by WFTDA Member Leagues.
