Together as One: Dallas Derby Devils and The Rolling Rebellion
As the 2019 season approaches, The Dallas Derby Devils would like to announce the exciting integration of The Rolling Rebellion Junior Roller Derby League. This transition will be smooth, with Rolling Rebellion board members transitioning to Junior League Officials for DDD by the start of the new season. Skating together as one league means many new changes for both leagues. DDD will now be integrating Rolling Rebellion into their practices, monthly games, and community impact events. The junior skaters will still compete under JRDA, The Junior Roller Derby Association, as the Devils serve as mentors and help lead them on and off the track.
Rolling Rebellion
Since 2011 The Rolling Rebellion has established themselves in the DFW area as a Junior Roller Derby League with hard working and dedicated skaters. These young girls and boys, between the ages of 7-17, practice in Lewisville and have their own Travel Team that competes across the nation. Having been nationally ranked the last three years, The Rolling Rebellion is a league you just don’t want to mess with. Rolling Rebellion currently has 27 skaters and has an in-depth training program to welcome all skill levels. The Dallas Derby Devils are lucky to have such a committed group of skaters join their league. Fans can expect to see great things from these leagues coming together as one; from merging of practices and games as well as helping to impact the community together. This is an exciting move for skaters and fans alike. Clover Cup in March 2019 is right around the corner and Rolling Rebellion will be hitting the track alongside the DDD All-Stars.
